LEISURE QUEST ASSISTS IN IRAQ TOURISM REDEVELOPMENT

Leisure Quest was asked by the US Government to assist the  new Iraqi government in the reconstruction of its badly damaged tourism infrastructure.  Leisure Quest's President Mark Driscoll agreed to assist and said "It was an honor to accept the invitation and assist the Iraqi's in the reconstruction of their tourism infrastructure.  Iraq is home to some of the World's most significant historical and religious tourism sites.  Preserving such sites and enabling millions of tourists to visit these significant locations is vitally important to Iraq’s recovery and the rest of the World ".

Working closely with the Iraqi government and the Multi-National-Forces, Mr. Driscoll led a team of tourism,  economic development professionals  and military personnel in Iraq's Anbar Province.  Key to making progress was security.  Once restored, significant progress was made in economic development  efforts including the redevelopment and restoration of Iraq's tourism industry.
